The exhibition "Harmony of Beauty. Timeless elegance of Azerbaijani carpets" opened in Chisinau

On May 18, on the occasion of the International Museum Day 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Moldova jointly with "Azerkhalcha" OJSC and the National Museum of History of Moldova opened the exhibition "Harmony of Beauty. Timeless elegance of Azerbaijani carpets".

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Mr. Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Mr. Sergiu Prodan, General Director of the National Museum of History of Moldova, dr.hab. Eugen Sava, the Chairman of the Board of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, the honored art worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Emin Mammadov, and the Co-Chairman of the Moldova-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr. Vitalie Jacot welcomed the guests with opening remarks.

The opening ceremony was attended by officials of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, members of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Moldova, people of culture, public figures and representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Republic of Moldova.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Mr. Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, together with the Minister of Culture, H.E. Mr. Sergiu Prodan and the Chairman of the Board of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, Mr. Emin Mammadov presented two traditional handmade carpets as a gift to the collection of the National Museum of History of Moldova.

The exhibition "Harmony of beauty. Timeless elegance of Azerbaijani carpets" will be open from May 18 to July 3, 2025.
